Anasmita started learning music at the tender age of 4. She has learned music under the tutelage of renowned maestros like Shri Siben Chakraborty, Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, Smt. Chandana Chakraborty, Sri Anol Chatterjee, Smt. Jayati Chakraborty, and Shri Shomnath Roy. She is a Grade B Radio artist, a playback singer for Hindi and Bengali movies and films, and a stage performer across India. She is also an independent singer, composer, and songwriter and has released her own album, Mashruf. Anasmita is the recipient of the famous Clef Music Awards in Mumbai in 2023.
